"Poorly painted and NOT weathered"
k7beb.beboyle
The description says Realistically painted and weathered. In fact it looks like the paint was slapped on in a great hurry and there is no weathering at all. The silver paint overflows onto the canvas and the red is just smeared on. Casting is good but will need complete repainting to be suitable for any serious model.

"What you see is what you get."

The picture pretty much tells the story. These loads are of the quality I've come to expect from Chooch, although from time to time it's a swing and a miss, but nobody bats a thousand. These are used (two packages) as loads on two Red Caboose C&NW fish-belly flatcars and one Red Caboose SP fish-belly flat in a T&NO train carrying primarily petroleum products. They are painted realistically perfectly and the tarps are absolutely believable. The cars were very light at 55g per car out of the box, and adding these loads brought them up to suggested NMRA minimum weight standards for a 40 foot car (112g+), solving two problems at the same time; add load and weight. Excellent detail and definitely worth the price.
