97% finished, I have to admit, this model does look pretty sinister in its dark grey color scheme....

Finely Finished ......I dont want to have my ships or subs so rusty they look like they have been at sea too long. But some well placed rust sets a good model off ! The rust is made from a thin mixture of red, black and yellow acrylic. Add several coats to get the effect you want.

Surrendered to the Royal Canadian Navy, 11 May 1945, where the U-190, painted in lurid red and yellow stripes, was towed to the spot where she had sunk the Canadian minesweeper Esquimalt, and used for target practice and sunk.
