This is the second time around for me on this beauty. An earthquake in the seventies claimed #1. This was a real pleasure to spend the time to build. Maybe #3, with sails, next time!

The lower or gun deck, which is hidden under the upper deck when completed, took weeks to complete. The captain's rooms even have paintings molded on the wall for tiny paint practice. Since this is all hard or impossible to see now, this is a nice forum for showing these details.

modified with a few clothes clips to snug rigging while drying. Careful, though, as too much weight (ie: clothes clips...) CAN warp the masts. Applying the string's # to the clip made sorting much easier.

There are a dozen or so crewmen. After 9 months building the ship, having a few hundred sailors aboard would be a great addition. Maybe an after market add-on?

Meet her! And keep in mind, she is a meter, by a meter by about 14 inches... Have a large dock ready! A very fun, rewarding and time-consuming build.
