the cockpit was nicely detailed. the instrument panel decal seemed too tricky to apply on the raised detail of the instrument panel, but it was a good painting guide.

The cockpit walls had clear pieces, painted yellow, for the oxygen piping. With all the detail inside, opting for the open cockpit seemed obvious at this point.

the odd angles for the wheels and landing gear were easy to achieve due to how the model is engineered

The nose cone decal was taking the pleasure out of it's placement, (refusing to lay flat!) so it became an example to paint by.
