Whew, ten months to get to here. I had some major problems with this wonderful model.

Woah! and not a good way. That is a German motorcycle from the 88 rifle set. I had cemented the chasis to the frame. The next day it looked like this. A couple weeks ago, I took it apart and did what I could. Other pics follow

I forgot to apply the grill from the inside. My intention was to accomplish all my painting and then apply the grill and then cement the body to the frame. Oh Well.

My version uses the early model. The spare was inside. This with the spare out is the later model

Another important detail I found the hard way is, be sure you have the correct places to apply cement. These rails worked for me the second time around. Ha Ha.

This area details the piece that is supposed to hold the rifle barrell. The but piece on the floor is ok. But on this model and any Tamiya model I have, this piece to hold the barrell is always too small. I have been trying to fabricate a small piece to no avail

This Steyr has a crew. With a payload of over 3500 lbs, this vehicle had 10 inches of ground clearance.
