Here are the new suspects, getting ready for their adventure in the Ost

Interesting to me is that these grenades seem smaller. This kit is in that grenadier's hand. The other grenades are from other kits, of varying manufacture.

Another shot of the crew. I did not cement that maching gun belt into the 42. That is a break off waiting to happen. This 42 actually was lacking in detail. That makes it a late war issue?

Here we are with a bit of paint and what equipment assult troops carry at this time of the war.

This Tamiya paint works well for me as a skin/face/hand color for flesh. The brush is a number 4 and I will have another of this size and hope to purchase the next size down, a smaller one.

Earlier, I mentioned my belief that the grenade was smaller. The first thing I saw when open the box, was the figures seemed smaller. Look at the landser behing the soldier with the 42. That is a Tall Teuton. And look at the seated figure on our left. He is small.

The shoulder of this soldier shows my problem with fitting of parts. That one slipped past me. It also was strong enough to survive paiting and is still on there.

Upon seeing the camera out, these other landser ran up for the photo opprotunity. I like these figures. The price is right. And I find it a challenge to assemble these correctly. Maybe I am addicted but more, I need more figures.
