I enjoyed building this kit despite a few deficiencies. The first one, shown in this mock up photo, was that the chassis wheelbase was too long for the body.

To shorten the chassis wheelbase and appropriate amount I taped 2 hacksaw blades together and sawed the chassis in half just ahead of the rear frame. It was then put back together using Plastruct plastic weld and reinforced using some strip styrene. The exhaust pipes and driveshaft were also short

Here is a close up of the rear quarter showing the rear wheel now nicely centered in the opening.

Here is a photo of the chassis. Look closely and you can see where I had cut the chassis plate. I scratch built the rectangular exhaust tips and added some parts box rear shocks, which were not included in the kit.

Here is a side view of the completed model. It was painted with a fade using Tamiya TS23 light blue and TS55 dark blue. I also lowered the rear to give it a more level stance.

Here is an overhead view. I had some trouble with the paint. For some reason it did not lay down with a uniform gloss. I then used several coats of Rustoleum gloss lacquer followed by lots of color sanding and polishing to get to something I was happy with.
