Yes you can modify this kit. all you need is a certain lack of sanity, a dremmel tool, sheet styrene, an overflowing parts box...

the grille was an option from a Tom Daniel's quicksilver kit and the hood scoop is a cut-down lower body panel from a rail dragster 2-in-1 kit. Front suspension is from '53 chevy panel truck kit.

Rear springs are from a big rig trailer kit. Rear axle and ladder bars from an angelia gasser. chute is from a funny car and decals are from numerous other builds

This is the end result of nearly 20 hours of modification starting with grinding away everything molded into the original. only the main body was unmodified on this build.

the original chassis floor pan was cut off at the firewall and a wired hemi engine from a funny car on a subframe from a dirty donnie super bee was installed.
