SdKfz 232 Schwerer Panzerspahwagen

The Sd.Kfz. 232 was a German heavy armored reconnaissance vehicle of 8 wheels. The armor in this vehicles was designed to provide protection from small arms fire only, it was ineffective against heavier weapons. This model was very distinctive because of the heavy bedspring antenna over most of the hull. This Dragon Armor pro series kit, is a model I really enjoyed the process of building it. Advantages: 1º the frame antenna made from injection-molded plastic with great accuracy, probably this antennas should have been more thinner in fact, but on the other side, they are strong enough to let the turret rotate, and also lets you handle the kit, without breaking them. 2º The turret hatch can be assembled open/closed, also it has a realistic 2cm KwK 30 L/55 and MG34 guns in it. 3º Details of the wheels, hull, grill on engine deck, vehicle tools, rear, cargo and jerry cans, Underside of hull, etc. were molded with a great level of detail, especially given the fact that is a 1/72 kit. Its overall very well done model. 4º Very good decals, and instructions are OK. It doesn't come with photo-etched parts, but no need, everything was sharply molded. The kit looks very realistic when I finished it. This vehicle was one of the most impressive armored wheeled vehicles of WW2. Highly recommended.
