I bought this set so I would not have to assemble it. The detail is good, I wish the kit varied the gear or included a few other poses. While the kit is a great price for the numbers you get, Hat is always a good value, but the detail is not as crisp as Zvezda, but then you don't have to assemble the troops. A very Functional kit, good for war gaming, or when numbers are needed.

This Russian set comes with hardly any mould on the sprues. They are a great counterpart to the Zvezda WWI set, but with less glue.
