This model like most hobby boss models are easy to bild and a good plane for the first timer. The planes parts fit well and having the decal for U.K.version is deffernt. The inst are good and paint sheet is good to there is little in detal and number of parts is small. But is good plane for the scale but for more skilled modeler go up a scale.

A kit with very few parts but don't let that turn you off. There is plenty of molded in detail. As with most Hobby Boss Easy Build kits, the parts are crisp and the fit is well machined. In addition to Luftwaffe decals, the kit also comes with RAF markings to model a captured Komet under test and evaluation. The lack of cockpit detail is the only detractor about this kit. Another enjoyable and satisfying build from the Hobbyboss Easy Build series.

Overall, this was a fun little kit to put together. The detail of the interior is definitely lacking, but that is to be expected with a HobbyBoss easy assembly kit. They are designed to give a good representation of the subject at an affordable price. This Me-163 kit does exactly that. There were minimal seam lines that needed removal and very little putty application to make the kit come together. The decals were also quite easy to work with. I'm not sure if it was just a fluke either, but two duplicate decal sheets were provided which is a great insurance policy to have in case something goes awry with laying them down. I would highly recommend these easy assembly kits if you are looking for a simple project with a good result.
