Poorly designed
I bought this kit because it is one of the most iconic dragsters ever built. I saw it run once at a local drag strip. Unfortunately it wasnt fun to build. Very poor instructions made it hard to see where parts were supposed to go. There were no instructions as to when to apply parts so you have to do a lot of thinking and decide when to add what and where it goes. There's also a lot of flash on parts including the chrome which makes it hard to clean up.
Now the worst part. The injector tubes are all individual instead of being on a strip like every other kit I've built. That means applying 32 little tubes on the 4 manifolds and trying to get them all on straight. The same goes for headers. All individual pipes that need to be built in a jig. At least they supply the jig but it still takes forever since only one set can be built at a time and you have to wait for the glue to set before making another one. I have no idea why they designed it like this but it really was a pain. I only hope those tiny exhaust pipes hold on the thin strips they go into.
