Easy build
This was a very fun and easy build. The kit does not contain a lot of parts, but there is still good detail. The frame, which can be a challenge in funny car builds, went together flawlessly and did not need any tweaking to sit on all 4 tires. The rest of the parts go together nicely and have just a minimal amount of flashing. You will need to use a small amount of putty on the front clip to eliminate a gap with the front fenders. There are two engine options - a Ford or a Chrysler Hemi. The decals are nicely done, and I had no issues placing them on the car. However, I would suggest looking at the box art for proper placement vs the instruction sheet.
Loved this kit!

A pretty easy kit to build, and I it looks quite nice when completed. There was a lot of flash and the front tires did not fit the rims, so I went to the parts box for different rims. Otherwise it fit together well. Aftermarket rear tires. I glued on the rear end and front end before painting and used white putty to smooth those seams. Liquid Chrome and Tamiya TS-54 Light Metallic Blue, and a finish coat of floor polish.

Being one of the track photographers at U.S. 30 Dragstrip in Scherreville, Indiana I remember the days taking pictures of Jungle Jim. Just had to have this model and add it to my scratchbuilt US 30 diorama. Great build, really no problems..really enjoyed it.

Struggled a little with the frame. The setup is a little different from the real car. Had some flashing, but over all pleased with the finished car.
