General Patton's Command Vehicle
By: smiller411
3rd Army, WW2 and the race to Berlin. Awesome subject and all General Patton's details are included - grab rail, front radiator armor, M2 50 Cal, siren, and air horns.
Minus 1 star for the following:
- decals don't conform really well, but still look good.
- misspelling of lbs and mph on two of the small stencils.
- I had issues with hood fitment and the serial number decals, ultimately glueing the hood in place.
Painted Tamiya TS-5 Olive Drab with Tamiya Panel Line Accent Color (Black) for the body and Tamiya Panel Line Accent Color (Brown) for dirt on tires, wheels and undercarriage. Coated with Tamiya TS-80 Flat Clear. (See my album for photos.)
Ultimately a great kit that looks awesome. Inspired after watching Patton with George C Scott.
Attenhut!!
The box is full of amazing parts that are amazingly crisp and wrapped in plastic shrinkwrap for protection.. The machine gun may need replacement with one from Academy but that's all.
The kit offers many options for details, I have to only imagine what I'll need from my parts boxes. I highly recommend this kit to detail oriented kit buiders..
WC-56 82nd Airborne
This kit is amazing. Zero flash, seamless part fit, precise directions. Am mating it with a M101 cargo trailer from Italiari to make a simple 82nd airborne diorama. Resin figures, and misc and handmade cargo will complete.

Can't decide which version to build. Gotta go with Patton's vehicle. He's my favorite General. Best we ever had.
