Liked the kit a lot
Overall, it's a real nice kit. As others have said, it is a curbside but the hood is separate. The badges and decals are for a 6 cylinder. I chose to add a Chevy 250 6 from MCW resin. It was a tight fit and had to leave off some parts. A V8 small block would probably fit better but you'd then have to change the badges. Strangely, the front seat was molded in but the back seat was separate. Not much details on the door panels but the seats were nicely patterned. The complete undercarriage was 1 piece. Exterior details were excellent and the finished model is very realistic. It was a fun model to build and went togerther excellently!
A True Pleasure To Build!!!
If you're looking for a kit that is just an absolute pleasure to build and perfect for repairing a shattered mojo then this is it. This is also the perfect kit for those new to glue kits and also those who are getting back into model building after a long hiatus. All in all I'd strongly recommend this kit to any builder who is just looking for a relaxing good time. In ending I enjoyed this kit so much I plan on buying two more copies just to keep around for when I need a fun relaxing build.
Nice starting point
It is a curbside kit which means no engine comes with it,but the hood is detached and the engine compartment is ready to accommodate an engine. The chassis has molded in exhaust and driveshaft so it will need to be matched up to whatever engine you may choose to put in. Not a lot of details and no optional parts but it's a well made kit and has potential if you want to put the work and parts in.
High Quality
I wish all model kits were of this quality when it comes to fit and finish of this wagon. Everything just went together nicely. The kit doesn't come with an engine but it is really easy to install one. Nicely detailed engine bay especially for a curbside kit. As bonus you get a squirrel and red tinted telephone! This is a fun one to build!
Fun Model To Add
I don't recall ever building a model station wagon. The detail in the mold made my first attempt at BMF go better than I expected. Fun to build, and looks great on the shelf. No issues in the build.
Amazing kit.
Bought one and waiting on a moebius 63 nova sedan for the engine if it gits, otherwise 63 Nova II detail kit has you covered! Amazing detail, and the little accessories are so fun!
