"Like building a kit from my childhood."
shawngoodman244 (Pampa, Texas)
This kit was a lot of fun to build. Given options of stock, custom, or drag, I opted for a custom drag version. Very clean kit and great fitting parts. I recommend this kit to anyone that wants to take a trip down memory lane.

"Great building kit, thanks AMT"

This has turned out to be one of my favorite builds as of late. I built mine as the box art showed. There was quite a bit of flash that needed cleaned up but parts fit was very good. You will have to sand off the mold lines on the fenders by the headlights. I like all the extra parts that you'll have left over for your parts box and the red and clear glass. I used both the red and clear on mine. To radius my rear fenders for the drag slick clearance I wrapped coarse sandpaper around a spark plug socket.

"challenging build"

Quite a bit of flash on these parts. The molds used for the chrome parts have seen better days. I built the Custom version, with patience and a little innovation it turned out presentable. Wouldn't recommend for the less experienced.
