Atlas code 55 is just simply the best
Atlas code 55 is just the best, better than Peco. Peco ties are unrealistically spaced, and the rail is much different. I first started using Atlas code 55 track recently, and will never go back to anything else. Make sure your rolling stock has low profile wheel sets, as the typical wheel set will not roll on this rail since the rail is lower than other codes. Low profile wheel sets I am sure are sold on Hobbylinc. The larger wheel flanges will hit the ties of the code 55 track, and will just not be compatible. I highly recommend soldering feeder wires underneath the tracks. I do this by removing a few ties, and soldering the feeder wire to the bottom of the track using the tinning technique. Then set the track, tie the feeder wires into the main bus line, and insert lose ties on the roadbed held in place with white glue to make the 'seemless' visual connection. You can't see the feeder wires. Soldering feeder wires to the sides of the rails, and leaving the ties on, is very hard and I was never able to make it look good. If that is your plan, this is probably not the track for you.
Really nice track
This is really nicely made track. The ties are crisp and well molded. The rail is well extruded and delicate looking. It is beautifully to scale and will certainly require a more scale wheel than the usual wide flange found on older equipment. It is every bit as well made and detailed as the Micro Engineering track i have been buying, but less expensive.
Best flex tracks
I just love these tracks. They are well made and easy to work with. The brown ties and the nickel color tracks a quite realistic looking by themselves.

The track came nicely bundled and in great shape. Iwill probably be buying more.
