Reviews : Bandai AT-ST Star Wars

I've been picking up various Bandai Star Wars kits and when this one came out I immediately grabbed one. The Bandai kits are extremely finely detailed and easy to assemble. They also are rather unique being made of a plastic that is like a styrene/vinyl hybrid. They go together like Legos but can also be glued like typical plastic models which is the way I build them. They also are molded in the appropriate colors so they don't have to be painted but I paint them as well. This one had a fair number of parts for being a smallish kit but that makes it look great. I had no trouble and ended up with a very nice display model. I have built this and a set of droids so far but have a number of the kits waiting on shelves for future builds. I highly recommend any of the Bandai Star Wars kits.

I loved building this model! The quality is impeccable: No flashing, no ejector pin marks, high quality plastic, and 100% perfect fit. The price point is really good for such a quality 1/48 model. I say it's perfect for all skill levels because a child could snap it together without glue or paint and have a model that they'd be proud of, but you can also paint and glue it together. I'd recommend light ghost gray for the armor, burnt iron for the weapons, and some CreateFX black wash to get the highlights. A little dirt/moss on the base makes it look straight from Endor.

What can I say about Bandai models. Excellent details, excellent fit, outstanding look. If I had to complain I'd have to say the instructions could use some work. I'm very happy with the outcome and would suggest this kit for any Star Wars fan.

This is pretty much the best-made kit of an AT-ST. Comes with a little Chewbacca figure and lasers you can attach to the guns to give a firing effect. Highly recommended!

Excellent kit, The fit is incredible, easy to pose and a great subject. A must for all Star Wars fans
