these are wargame miniatures. they are cast from that flexible green army man type of plastic. The sculpting is of the standard lead/metal type, a little exaggerated and thick.. that is, not perfectly scale but would look okay in formations. I always have trouble trying to file or sand down mold lines and flash on this type of plastic. One would probably want to paint with acrylic paints (if at all). The box art is beautiful, the miniatures don't quite live up to it imo. Also they are tightly shoved into the box, a few of the figures are damaged beyond use.
Great amount of models and poses
Arrived on a dark blue sprue a a small amount of flaring. No men were bent and the plastic consistency was slightly smooth so be sure to wash with soap before painting to provide a better seal. Box says Line Infantry but the set includes Voltigeurs and Grenadier units as well.
Good figures
These are good french napoleonic figures for wargaming they are bendy and hard to sand though comes with line infantry grenadiers And other units 3 types in total as seen on the box
