All around great choice
I usually buy model railroad car kits that require assembly. I almost always use the Kadee wheels to replace the wheelsets in the kits and for those that do not include wheels and trucks. The few times I do not use them are for the trucks made for the smaller diameter axle points. This is not a common occurrence. The Kadee axles fit well in most trucks, whereas the smaller axle points will be sloppy. The Kadee wheelsets add some low center of gravity weight and roll well. Also, they aren’t shiny metal, so they are easier to weather..
Fantastic Wheel Set
My experience with Kadee wheel sets is I never had an issue. I've installed them all my freight cars they roll super smooth. I can't say anything negative about them.

Point on axle too fat. Does not free wheel well in plastic carriage.
