This is a great little model kit. Nice addition to my Lake/Campgrounds scene. I didn't modify it much from the instructions. It was easy to build. The only tricky part was the railing and stairs on the front. I am putting an LED in the bottom of it so it's lit up at night. I have photos of this uploaded. I plan to put a couple of gas pumps out front and a sign advertising live bait. Just like the places I spent so much time at and have so many good memories of.

This was a great little kit to build, totally enjoyed painting and putting it together. Pieces fit nicely with a minor amount of flash removal-sanding. The finished build brought back memories of the general store I would frequent in Clayton NJ during my early childhood. The store is a great addition to my layout and fits in perfectly. Instructions include good diagrams and detailed enough for easy assembly when followed. You can choose your paint scheme to make it unique.

I have two of these, each in a different style. One is a plain house without any store parts added and the other is the fully equipped store and loading dock version. This building is easy to build and does not need painting if you choose to leave not to paint the building. I recommend this kit to anyone and to have at least two for your layout.

My grandson loved this store. It was perfect as the first commercial building added to his growing village. We added a few customers, and I painted part of the addition and placed painters next to the building. If you want the building to be a different color, be sure to paint the outside walls before assembling the structure.

Kit assemblies quickly and is based on using the base provided. It can be assembled without base and placed directly on layout. I assembled with base and interior floor and detail for a small diorama. I left back roof loose so interior detail can be viewed. Added some trees and bushes.

Great purchase decent skill level to build best item by far might by another one and paint the pieces first highly recommend this to anyone building a model train layout

With very little effort & adding a little left-over wood used on porch & loading dock, this kit comes out looking as good as laser-cut kits costing 3x as much!

I have quite a few of these now, the detail is great and you can either keep it as it - or change it up by painting it.
