1969 Dodge Charger Funny Mr.Norm

This was one of the best kits I’ve done yet. No flashing on the parts and everything fit perfectly. The body was a little thicker than other kits but not a problem. You don’t get bumpers with this kit but I think it’s because it’s a funny car and bumpers would just add more weight to the car. So kudos to Polar Lights for trying to make it as realistic as possible. This kit definitely goes on my top five list. I’ll be looking for more.

Due the fiddley nightmare chassis & vague instructions I WOULD ONLY recommend this one to experienced builders... Having said that it looks good when its done...

I would give this 4 stars except for the following: 1) Instructions are not very complete. They will show the part, but will not show exactly where the part should be placed; 2) The frame is warped so build it as close to square as you can get. I found that once the engine, seat assembly and tires are installed it all levels out. Need to watch the installation of the rear bulk head that holds the car to the frame. Suggest that you build the interior cover first and dry fit it to the body. This will show you exactly where the bulk head should be glued. On the positive side, there is no flashing and the decals are well done. Lastly, it's very easy to add plug wires to the engine for a more detailed look.
