Beautifully done but for...
This is a beautifully molded and painted set of free ranging horses except for one small paint scheme detail that Preiser should correct: horses don't have pink lips ( they're primarily black / dark grey ) but the ones in this set do. Not a big deal however - HO scale horse lips are very small after all :) The detail is typical Preiser with muscles, mane, tail and even fetlocks. I purchased this set just for the rearing figurine which has been added to my layout as the attraction at the entrance to Fantasy Land. Four of the five figurines are uniquely posed while the two grazers are identical ( different paint though ) - if put to pasture or roaming the range you'll want to put some distance and very the orientation of the two grazers.
