This Jeep kit is so cool, where do you start? It's got near zero flash. The parts fit really nicely. Assembly is easy... All the things you expect from modern Revell kits. Now for the cool stuff. The roof and doors can be configured several different ways. The V8 option is always nice in these Jeeps. I love the fact that both the Golden Eagle and Renegade decal packages are included in this kit. There's huge potential here for a custom mud slinger or hunting rig. I'm using my kit and some custom printed decals to build Daisy's Jeep from Dukes of Hazzard. I'll eventually be getting another kit to replicate my uncle's '77 Renegade.

Revel’s Jeep kit assembles well and has a few different themes that can be mixed and matched. The decals went on well and detail is pretty good. The only problem I had was the tiny chrome trim pieces. I lost the door handles and made replacements from thin wire. Still, it’s a fun build for a modeler who has some experience with similar kits. Not a first glue kit by any means. It’s offered at a good price, so add one to your collection.

This is the latest re-issue/rebox of the Revell Jeep CJ-7. I've built two of the earlier offerings and was glad to see it making its return. The kit is nicely priced and includes alot of options. The kit is also 1/24 scale...not 1/25 scale per the site listing. I prefer 1/24 scale auto kits.
