Good detail
After getting back into models after 20 yrs, this was definetly a challenge. Shouldn't have been my first choice for starting again, but, live and learn. Had some trouble with the boom and winch assembly, not paying attention in earlier steps caught up with me towards the end (theres about 130 steps) and adding the winches proved difficult.
On that note, having 20+ years as a diesel/ heavy equipment/ medium and heavy duty truck mechanic, I can say a lot of the details and controls are fairly accurate.
Lots of small chrome and marker lights.
Some metal foil included.
Kit contains additional parts, but not additional instuctions, for making a day or condo-cab.
Took me about 8 months, would probably take a more experienced modeler a few weeks.
Overall I'm happy with the end result and enjoyed the challenge.
