Better than a tooth pick and allows accurate glue placement. Cured glue is easy to remove.

This works great with the tamiya glues. Makes it easier for my 10 year old to apply glue.

This is a nice applicator, I used it as soon as I took it out of the package to apply CA glue to fill in some panel lines on a model car body. The end is a hook-type with a sort of dulled knife edge. You can put a smidge of glue on or a drop. Wipes clean easily. And the handle is hexagonal so it's resistant to rolling which makes it easier to apply the glue to the tool.
