"Squadron Drill Bit Index"

This index is a must-have if you build ships. The sharpness and quality of the bits themselves are A-1, especially for drilling out holes in the hull, or deadeyes and blocks; plus they're handy for piercing sails. The only drawback is the dispenser.(It's kind of stiff, but that's minor.) I would definitely recommend it to any model-builder!

"Great to Have"

The size range of the bits are very well worth the purchase. I had no idea how useful a pin vise was until I purchased one and then of course I needed a range of drill bits that did not come with it. This set fits the bill as the smallest of bits is almost or thinner than a hair. Work great for making holes, just don't use too much pressure while using them.

Great needed set of drill bits for a great deal. I do lots of plastic work and with that comes some sculpting work. These drill bits do just great for all of that.

"Cheap useless bits, don't drill holes."

These bits are absolute junk. Only a few actually drill a hole, the others just rub a dimple in plastic! Buy the more expensive set that actually works, the Excel EXL55510 set. I purchased one of those 30 or 40 years ago and they work! I didn't know they were available at Hobbylinc and bought these cheap ones instead.
