Pz.Kpfz.38 VARIATIONS HC

Another fine book from Squadron Signal for the model builder/ WWII history enthusiast. The book covers the development of the PzKpfw 38 from its beginning through its use as a platform for numerous vehicles. There are many excellent black and white photos of the AFV’s in action along with the usual shots taken at the factory showcasing the vehicles for posterity. Included are numerous self propelled artillery pieces panzer jagers including applicable Marders and the Hetzer. Colored plates are included for many of the variations covered. There is one color photo in the book showing a museum piece PzKpfz 38 ausf C in pre-war Czechoslovak Army paint. At 80 pages, there are well over 100 black and white photos and a wealth of information. It is as close to excellent as a book can be without having actual color photos from the war.
