Nice plane
I have built tons of Tamiya kits and have never had an issue with them. The instructions are always clear and easy to follow and usually provide tips that can help improve the kit. There was no flash on the parts and everything fit together like it should. The cockpit detailing was ok. The instrument panel was a decal, and there were some minor details on the walls. An ambitious modeler should be able to improve on the kit and super detail everything to really set it apart from other planes. I'd recommend this kit to anyone as it went together without any problems and creates a pretty nice plane when finished.
outstanding detail.
Probably the nicest Zero kit out there. The detail is superb. The wheel wells are nicely done for such a small kit. I have the N1K1 kit as well (in my earliest days I contemplated trying to scratch build one). Fit and Finish is great as well. Tamiya has always done a great job, and with the competition especially from new China molds, They are forced to improving there molds, They still release old kits, new boxes. This kit is an outstanding rendition of a great old classic.
review of an awesome Zero kit
This is a very detailed kit of an Early war Zero. The parts fit very snug and they fit well. Painting is very straight forward and gives you three options from Pearl Harbor and early world war 2.
