Reviews : Tamiya Messerschmitt BF109E Fighter Aircraft WWII

I have built tons of Tamiya kits and have never had an issue with them. The instructions are always clear and easy to follow and usually provide tips that can help improve the kit. There was no flash on the parts and everything fit together like it should. The cockpit detailing was ok. The instrument panel was a decal, and there were some minor details on the walls. An ambitious modeler should be able to improve on the kit and super detail everything to really set it apart from other planes. I'd recommend this kit to anyone as it went together without any problems and creates a pretty nice plane when finished.

Excellent model from Tamiya. Suitable for both beginners and proffesionaly to build a simple, good-quality model with no frills. All parts fit together perfectly.The set of three variants decal. Glass cockpit can be assembled in an open and closed position.Included is an overhead fuel tank.Decals are very good quality.Study mediocre cabin, but nothing prevents you to fix it.From the assembly of this set you will get a true pleasure.The only drawback is the instrument panel decal.It should not be used.

Another phenomenal kit from Tamiya. This kits fit is great and required absolutely no filler. Sprues were clean with no flash and the only sanding I had to do was from the gluing process. Will definitely use this kit for future BF 109 builds!

This was a great build for the price. Tamiya has always produced pristine designs with great fit. I had to make very little adjustments to fit the parts together. I used all Tamiya paint and photo etched parts by Eduard. Great build.

Excellent kit! Parts all fit well. The cockpit detail is good, and easy to do well for beginners and moderate builders. Recommend gluing engine cowling on after you have decided on camouflage. Good kit to develop skills on.

Great kit with excellent fit and completely hassle free as most Tamiya kits are. Most my builds are Tamiya kits because of the quality from the molded plastic to the easy to follow and thorough directions.

I had just gotten back into modeling and this was my 2nd kit. I had a great time putting it together and weathering it. I spent about 2 days on it and I am happy with the way it looks

Another nice kit from Tamiya. Not too many parts but still has plenty of detail. Very competitive price from Hobbylinc. This kit will go into my Battle of Britain collection.

Built this after the Focke Wulf and again no problems. Everything went together smoothly. Haven't got much else to say. Nice price and nice model.

An enjoyable build that looks great when completed.
