Tamiya has out done itself with this one
This kit is superlative. The engineering is impeccable even by Tamiya standards. The fit is flawless. There are several interesting options for finishing the model. There are jerry cans and oil drums for dioramas. There is sparing use of photo etch. My normal knock on Tamiya is their decals are too thick and don't settle onto the model well. That is not an issue on this kit (perhaps because the lines are raised and not recessed on this aircraft) and the decals settled perfectly. Masks are provided for the clear parts which is super helpful on a plane with so much glass. The only thing I wish Tamiya would do is to pre-cut their masks as their peers do. But beyond that this kit could not have been better.
Fieseler Fi156C Storch
One of the best Tamiya sets. The set is highly detailed, power elements are given in metal. Several options for cockpit glazing. Several cockpit options, several aircraft options. Chassis and skis. Figures of the pilot, soldiers and officers. The set is amazing. The assembly will bring a lot of pleasure. There are masks in the kit, but they need to be cut out. The quality is amazing. I definitely recommend. On my two models, I finished the cabin with a decal from Quinta Studio, installed a grid imitating a radiator, and drilled out the pipes.
