Aztek Deluxe Pro Airbrush Set

I've been using the Aztek A470 airbrush for about two years and over this same period I've also been using comparable Japanese airbrushes and also an inexpensive Chinese knockoff airbrush. Sometimes it's hard to tell the difference because all airbrushes seem to have some issues, but overall I think the Aztek performs well for most of the work I need to do and at a good price point. I'm generally painting styrene and resin scale models with acrylic and lacquer paints, and finishing with clear coat acrylics. I find the Aztek A470 airbrush equipped with fine line and acrylic nozzles offer plenty of range to cover these requirements. It may not be as precise as some higher end Japanese and German airbrushes but it works simply and cleans easily. I don't have to worry about using micro-spanners to loosen the needle, or damaging the needle when extracting it. The Aztek system is very unique in this regard and replacement nozzles can be purchased for about $10 from Hobbylinc if you do damage one. Just recently I did have a problem with the trigger not functioning properly and after contacting Testor's and sending it in, they replaced it with a new airbrush. Now that's great customer service!

This is an excellent airbrush! It comes with 2 different size paint bottles, 4 different size paint cups with lids, 6 different size tips for almost any type of paint and a wrench to take it apart. The paint bottles/cups can be mounted on either side making it easy to use for right or left handed users. the different paint nozzles are very easy to change and are color coded to make identifying which one are what size very easy. There are many tutorials on line to help with improving painting skills or just learning to use it. It is extremely easy to clean and stores in a very nice wood box.
