Finely detailed model for experienced builder
You'll definitely want some styrene model building experience before you tackle this model. Many small parts require a patience, a steady hand and good vision, or, as in my case, a decent headband magnifier. Basic tools should be all you need: a good hobby knife and a flat jewelers file served me well. Your reward is a very nice model with great but delicate detail. You will have to supply your own couplers
Must have for experience modelers
This kit is definitely for a more advanced builder. The quality and detail is amazing and there are many detail parts included. I will likely upgrade the trucks in the future, but the ones included will do fine if you do a good job putting them together. Plan on a few evenings to assemble (at least I did, I like to take it slow).
very nice kit
this kit goes together very well. there was very little flash on any of the parts. in my opinion this is a very high quality kit.
the only flaw is the hand rails. they are too fragile to de burr once cut from the sprue.

I would prefer that there were decals and wheels in metal instead of plastic
