F6F-5
I have recently started building the 1/32 scale models. Have completed 5 at this time. These are a lot more enjoyable to build at my age (73) than the smaller scale, although I have both. When I was a kid and building models Revell and Lindburg was about all that was out there that I knew of. Trumpeter and Tamiya have brought me to a whole new level to my hobby also affordable. Just wish someone out there would look to make a kit for the old Willy-Fudd (S2F) from VAW-12. The E-2s were still new in the mid 60's, the S2F was a unique looking aircraft. There are kits out there for the S-2 minus the radome.
Never again
Instructions to me are awful. Missing three parts, Fortunately, I had a spare kit after a previous misunderstanding and glue failure. The engine, after construction was off 20 degrees. Engine detail to me was terrible and the fit was horrible. This is the last trumpeter for me. Never again. Who writes their instructions? Dopey
the woodman
GOOD TO EXCELLENT - GREAT COCKPIT DETAILS - HAD A PROBLEM JOINING THE WINGS BUT SOLVED IT WITH EPOXY - I'M 82 AND WAS SLOWED BUT IT WAS WORTH THE BUILD - I PAINTED NAVAL ID COLORS FOR THE ESSEX CARRIER - AM BUILDING A FEW MORE FOR SOME OFTHE OTHER CARRIERS, I.., YORKTOWN, HORNET, LEXINGTON, ETC
F6F-5 HELLCAT 1/32 SCALE
VERY DETAILED, THE INSTRUCTIONS ARE VERY EASY TO WORK FROM. I LIKE THE WAY THEY TELL YOU WHAT COLOR EACH PART SHOULD BE. I LIKE THE CHOICE OF WHICH SHIP, SQUADRON, OR BASE THE PLANE CAN BE FROM.
Great 1/32 kit not many big hellcats around
Highly reccomend this kit for ww2 naval aircraft collection
