Superb figures.
I really enjoyed painting the WWII Japanese Infantry figures by Toy Soldiers of San Diego. The plastic takes and holds paint very well. I washed the figures first in warm, soapy water. I also used the hot water - ice water bath/dip treatment to straighten several of the figures' rifle barrels which came with a bit of a warp / bow in them. I undercoated the figures with KRYLON light khaki camouflage spray paint and used a diluted Games Workshop flesh wash to stain the uniforms. This really accentuates the finely-sculpted detail in these figures. The painted figures have stood up well to handling during tabletop wargaming. The bag contains two each of eight poses, for a total of sixteen figures. One of the poses has the option for holding a Japanese battle flag or an Arisaka bolt-action rifle with bayonet.
Japanese Infantry Figure set
Let me start off by saying, this is an excellent product. Weapons , poses , etc. The only problem I had was the weapon tips were a little warped. But it’s fixable. I recommend this product for anyone. John
Realism Abounds
Great set to improve realism not found in less expensive sets. Can make a more realistic Pacific War scene.
