Great and many alternative uses
Worked great and went down well. Can be laid side by side alternating right side up and down to build up a building plot for track based buildings bringing them up to your tracks height if on road bed. Con would be getting multiple ones to line up right on curves is a pain.

I like the sound deadening effect with this product. I have always used cork but am building a new layout and can already tell the difference with the small amount of track I have laid.

I just got started laying it down. Lays down great. I cut little notches for a the curves.
