"A home run."

Wow! I have vehicles from nearly every manufacturer; Athearn, Atlas, Walthers, Herpa, Classic Metal Works, Life Like, Malibu Models, Model Power, Norscot, Trucks & Stuff, A Line and Woodland Scenics. Of these this is my favorite tractor / trailer. Although sold by Walthers in the 932 series, this model is actually built by Boley according to the stamp under the truck just in front of the mud flaps. From the bottom up, the tractor has the best detailing I've seen. The wheels and tires are very realistic. Under the tractor there is full detail including bottom of the motor, drive lines with multiple U joints, 2 two speed rear ends with drive line and U joints and clevis trailer hitch. On the driver's side there are the cab steps, fuel tank, fire extinguisher, valve box, Haz Mat placard (1203) and full fenders with mud-flaps. The cab is super detailed. The front bumper is chrome and the radiator grille is very nice. Paint on the cab is high gloss with air intake and door handles with fine print for the International logo and model number 7600. The glazing is absolutely clear revealing a very detailed cab interior and the front windshield is equipped with very accurate windshield wipers. There is a sun shade on top of the windshield and the side mirrors are excellent. The detailing is painted black for more definition including the mirrors, air intake, door handles and steering wheel. The tank is most interesting with very high quality simulated chrome. Truly mirror like and you can see your reflection in it. On the top there are two filler caps and the cat walk is diamond safety walk. The passenger side has piping leading to the rear hose coupler box. The rear end has the tank ladder and the bumper detail includes brake lights and back-up lights. The trailer is no less detailed. The underside has piping from the tank to the detailed hose fittings and has a spare tire stowed. The trailer hitch also has the diamond safety steel. The front wheels are equipped with mud-flaps while the rear end has fenders with mud-flaps. The tank is virtually the same: The right hand side has piping with the hose coupler box on the front along with the ladder. These ladders are not cast but separately applied parts. The rear end of the trailer has a heavy duty bumper with tail lights and brake lights. Wisely the detail work below the level of the tank is not chrome but silver paint, which really accentuates the appearance of the chrome making it stand out more. On the downside the fuel tanks have a visible line where the two halves were cemented together. There is no exhaust system evident, no clearance lights and there are no visible battery boxes, which may not be apparent on the prototype. None of this keeps it from getting a five star ranking.
