Electric Utility Pole Kit (24)

Wish I knew these had to be assemble, this is in kit form, should have been stated. I was ready to install these, BAM what a disappointment. Says it's a kit on the package art work but not on the photo showing the same art work. Leo

Seeing all the parts in this kit is a bit scary at first but the included instructions are so complete that assembly is very straightforward. Actually the instructions are so comprehensive, you get a mini lesson in how these poles differ and what lines go where. I decided to omit the wires as I have this street in the foreground and am concerned about damage when reaching into the layout. Paint them on the sprues and they only require a bit of touch-up when assembled. I used CA gap filling for all assembly and did it all assembly line style so I could do the entire batch one step at a time and have them set aside to dry before returning for another part. Used magnifying glasses to do all the work and found it easy to work with the small parts. The end result is a nice set a poles that will enhance any layout.
