I love these knives! They're thin, strong, and easy to handle. These can reach into tight spaces due to their thinness. The textured hand grip works wonderfully, and it unscrews to allow the blade to be changed to new ones or to different knife variants. Comes with one of X-acto's quality blades.

extremely sharp!!!

This knife is very very sharp, so be extremely careful because it doesn't come with a blade guard or cap, and the body is cylindrical, which means it WILL roll around if you're not careful. I made my own cap out of some foam I had lying around. I primarily use this to trim away flash or cut masking tape while on the model. I find that the grip on the body is good, but not great. That's not a problem because the blade is so sharp you hardly have to exert any force for it to cut.

We all need a good general purpose hobby knife. This is the most common and least expensive of all Xacto handles. I have about a dozen of these.
