very good old style kit. it brought back memorys of when I started building models in the late 50's very strait forward as long as you study the direction carefully.

The kit is all molded in gray plastic, which can allow for a number of painting options. I like painting models to give them some character. You need to paint the tires black or camouflage, and then there are a number of options. You can paint the model overall Olive with dark green under carriage, which I did. Or you can paint it overall tan or light brown for desert service. You can also use a number of colors for an overall camouflage look. There are no written instructions only diagrams, but the two units were easy to assemble. The axle was barely long enough to attach the wheels. I used a length of green floral wire to attach the wheels, so that they would role.

I actually bought this kit as a basis for a scratch build. Looking at the components of the kit it will provide me with the parts that will form the foundation of a WWII German generator used by the communication vans.
