"Excellent Kit"
WDOzment (Magnolia, KY)
I bought this kit to add a little more realism to my Willy's Jeep and my 2 1/2 ton 6x6 models I had completed a while back. This kit is simple to put together. No typed instructions, just diagrams, but they are easy to understand. Pay attention to the order of putting together the parts. I like to put some of the pieces together before painting and others I paint before putting together. So look ahead before putting things together. Overall I feel this is an excellent kit which adds lots of realism to your other vehicles. I do recommend adding the accessories to the trucks and trailers. "Tank trailer"
Excellent kit. Virtually no flash, excellent part fit. An easy, simple kit of outstanding quality. I substituted a piece of small guage wire insulation for the pump hose, added a bucket and jerry cans from a Tamiya kit and it fits great into a Vietnam armor diorama.

"nice old school kit"
very good old style kit. it brought back memorys of when I started building models in the late 50's very strait forward as long as you study the direction carefully.

"Good starter kit - Painting Options"
The kit is all molded in gray plastic, which can allow for a number of painting options. I like painting models to give them some character. You need to paint the tires black or camouflage, and then there are a number of options. You can paint the model overall Olive with dark green under carriage, which I did. Or you can paint it overall tan or light brown for desert service. You can also use a number of colors for an overall camouflage look. There are no written instructions only diagrams, but the two units were easy to assemble. The axle was barely long enough to attach the wheels. I used a length of green floral wire to attach the wheels, so that they would role.

Due to small parts that could cause a choking hazard please kee away from children 3 years of age and younger.
