"Great choice"

There is not much to say about what's in the box. Cutting them can be very challenging for a 10yo boy. Adult supervision may be required. My son is having fun when using them to support his 1/72 Sherman platoons

"Works well into other sets"

This set brings the combat side that Italeri #6120 is missing. I highly recommend getting both because they play into each other for a display of one company unpinning another company. Great set. Great poses. Great plastic. Deserves to be picked up by a hobbyist that displays storytelling dioramas.

"decent price"

Too many grease and tommy guns. The prone gunner for the M1919 is correct, but the tripod becomes a bi-pod. I'm cutting the gun off and discarding, and replacing same with Italeri #6120 Ditto with the mortar/gunner: just cut the poor model gun off and mate with Italeri #6120. waste not want not. Good bazooka firing pose. Nice bonus is the flamethrower in firing pose. As an infantry officer myself, I've never understood this and other producers' fascination with the waving pistol pose - oh well it works for wargamming.

"Good value"

Good value for the money. Typical of Italieri. Only drawbacks are lack of radioman, NCO holding Tommy gun by hip has a gun the size of a cannon rather than a submachine gun, and the poor quality of the mortar man with no second helper. But this is quite typical of earlier Italieri sets.
