"My new standard coupler"
Bruce (Orlando, Florida)
I've long felt the venerable #5 was oversize for HO. While still larger than scale, the #151 is much closer, and allows closer coupling. The integrated whisker springs mean fewer parts to juggle at installation, markedly reducing cursing. They are compatible with #5, #KD5, and the #K4 and K5s on my oldest equipment. Also works with #711 (my prior standard) with reduced gathering rage, but much greather strength for long trains.
