I bought this kit to be a companion to my USAF F-35A. Once finished, I'll be ordering the STOVL F-35B version.

This Model was very Interesting to build. A lot of small pieces to contend with. There was a lot of trimming and sanding after removing the parts from the trees. Parts went together very well. Could use some more decals to choose from. The instructions could have been a little more clear. (As per picture,)

For a price point this expensive, I would expect high quality as well. The instructions were terrible, the parts either fit poorly or not at all most of the time. My Dremel had to be used extensively to modify parts to fit. The Decals were awful, they fell apart before they were applied in many cases. Used aftermarket decals I was so disgusted. In the end, it looks good but I wouldn’t spend the money for another one. I’ll wait for Revell or Tamiya or Hasagawa to release the B model. I have a Revell “A” model and it was a pleasure to build. Pack your patience and your power tools if you want to attempt this kit. 👎
