"Hidden gem from Lindberg"

My experience with Lindberg kits has been hit or miss but I have to say this is a great kit. There is only the option to build it stock but the parts in this kit are immaculate and if you want to do a street rod, pro touring etc. you can always hit the parts box. I had zero issue with assembly and all the parts fit perfectly. The included decals are minimal but everything you need for a stock build are included. The included 442 badges, gauge cluster, and oldsmobile badge decals are great and add a nice touch to the finished product. I highly recommend this kit and would encourage anyone to add it to their collection.

Highly detailed and enjoyable to build. The kit comes with clear instructions including details about the orientation of the rear lights. Everything just fit in place without a lot of extra work. The model comes with chrome around the wheel wells and for my project I dechromed them and molded them into the body with putty. The kit comes with era appropriate 14 wheels but I used 15 wheels from a 69 Olds Kit with AMT Polyglas tires instead. The axle/wheel connection looked a little flimsy so modified the car to use metal axles. Overall a great model of a cool car that would look good in any collection.
