Never built a LOC before, but I knew their documentation was usually a bit scant. Such was the case with my Norad Pro Maxx, purchased for a L1 attempt. High quality parts abound, but my kit had a non-modified transition section. Reading the instructions lead me to believe the transition should have been cut open fore and aft to allow the MMT to pass through, but mine was intact. Like I said, these parts are high quality, so cutting the openings was tough work! Only change I made was to add a kevlar shock cord around the MMT between the CRs, and forgo the LOC-recommended loop and elastic. Also added a plywood sled in the payload bay for my altimeter (eventually will try dual deploy with this), and used Kaplow-style clips for motor retention. Got my L1, and still like to fly this nice looking bird!
