Lighted sign has multi-position switch for either full on or flashing modes. Uses 3 AAA batteries for power. Wires are short causing problems with placement of battery pack and control switch. I had to cut and splice additional wire since I was displaying the sign out of arms reach on my HO slot car/train layout. I used it in the window of a gas station. As such, the sign is large, more of a billboard type sign. Sign is extremely vibrant.
