Mack DM600 Tractor

I had to take my time with this one.I had the usual hood alignment issues but worked thru it.All in all it was a good build and would recommend it and will buy another for a project I have in mind.

This is the first model I've built in a few years and although it had a few quirks, it was still fun. Over all the instructions are clear and the paint guide was handy. Lining up the hood to the cab and building the passenger mirror was definitely the most challenging part of the build. The model came with tons of chrome that I ended up stripping with even cleaner to help prepare the parts for paint, for a more realistic build. Over all a great model

Just got this model kit. I'm not a huge fan of the Mack truck lines but this model is a great one to work on. I like the fact that you can rotate the front wheels left or right, to simulate steering, but you gotta be careful with the parts that go into the steering because they are thin and might break easily. You can also cement them together to prevent movement but its nice to have said option. Most of the chassis plastic parts come molded in black, which saves you the painting process if you decide to have a black chassis. But some parts that go into the chassis do need to get painted. I think that MPC / Round 2 did a great job on this model kit and I'm already half way through it. Love every moment i work on it. This one is worth every penny!
