The model kit was fun to build but the tracks were very junky some easily broke when cutting them off the sprues I wouldn't recommend this kit. I would stick with Zvezda when it comes to the bmd-1 and bmd-2 vehicles They use rubber tracks with the sprocket teeth on . With this Panda kit you have to glue the little teeth on the track links I might or might not have enough non damaged track links but if not I'll have to reorder this kit to use more track links if I don't have enough but Im very disappointed with this kit if anyone wants to build one of these you better get 2 kits then if you run into any track problems . Hopefully someday Takom will produce the BMD-1 and BMD-2 vehicles with the tracks already to assemble . Time will tell Avoid this model at all costs .

So I bought this kit on sale at $23. The plastic itself is okay, however a little on the thin side even compared to early Zvezda kits. THREE major things one needs to be aware with this kit however: 1) there are misprinted parts in the instruction. I uploaded pictures of the instructions with the correct labels. 2) There is no nook/notches to uniformly set the angle for each of the wheel axles. So did my best to set the axles at 45-degrees but some probably 43, 40, 50, etc degrees once glue has dried. 3) As the earlier review stated, you need to cut individual tracks off 4 sprues. Plastic is thin so be prepared to damage some tracks. Also, you have to individually glue “ALL” of the teeth on the tracks (also no guide notches for the teeth).
