I bought this kit when it came out over six years ago now and built it very soon after that. It really intrigued me since I was a rocket engineer and scifi ships like this have always been very cool. The kit was well made and the fit was excellent. I have built other Pegasus kits and they use an odd plastic which is something like a hybrid between classic Styrene and rubber, just slightly flexible. Standard construction works fine though and liquid plastic cement melts and bonds it. I built the kit straight from the box basically and the spaceship itself is fairly simple. There is a bit of detail work on the engines under the wings but not difficult. The base and launch rail really set it off and I added some mode train brush to the base for effect. I used Rustoleum metallizer aluminum paint which gave a nice finish to the ship. For scifi fans of classic scifi movies this When Worlds Collide Space Ark is a great kit to build and display.
