what a great model. This model is huge about 35 inches long This kit is well made and the pices go together great. I have been building polar lights models for a very long time(i have every one they ever produced this by far the best one yet.) Thier are a lot of lighting kits for this model. Give yourself a lot of time to build this kit it has a lot of parts and you will not be sorry you did you will have a prize model for your room. If you need help with the build search the web for star trek refit 350 scale there are a ton of info to help you out. do your self a favor get this model. as you can tell I really love this model. the one thing you should know is that the Aztec decals do not come with this model. sold separate. matt

This kit is a very well thought out kit, it is best to assemble the sub-assemblies AFTER painting and detailing, there are Aztek paint masks,Photo Etched parts and Light kits all available to make this model pop with realism. This is a great kit!

Purchased for my son and we are excited to get to work on this massive and highly detailed model. Plenty of opportunity for lighting, after market parts and modification. Or, build this beautiful ship right out of the box. Good instruction manual included and with plenty of build videos online you can pick up plenty of pointers and tips to help your build go smoothly. This kit will be fun to put together. My only question...where to put it? - it's HUGE!

I have built several of this particular kit, they all have minimal flash, great parts options (for various version of the ship) and parts for lighting.
